Ok. I'm back in town and recovering from the bridal show. Everything went really well. I met a whole bunch of really cool people.
I was really hoping to have the new blog up by now, but it should be coming this week. I will make the BIG announcement later this week when the new blog rolls out officially.
In the meantime, I have to tell you about how much fun I had shooting Sarah & Brett's E-session on Saturday. For some weird reason, I was not booked for what most people consider the busiest wedding day ever. Numerous inquiries, but no bookings.
We took adavantage of the fact that some of the venues were incredibly focused on all of the weddings and snuck around into a few places we couldn't normally get into otherwise.
I have a special appreciation for people who are the first to book me for a new year. So Sarah and Brett, who are getting married next May at the zoo, get to have a bit of extra treatment.
I was playing with the idea of adding some new texture work to some images. The textures that I apply are an effort to help focus on the connection of the people and what they were feeling. I got the concept from a really great wedding photographer named Jesh De Rox, you can see some of his work at here.
Oh, and just a warning for future couples preparing for their engagement session...you really need to practice up your "Blue Steel" look.
So, enough chatter and on to the pictures...
