DeShawna & Brandon’s Wedding
I am behind on blogging this, but sometimes it is hard to decide which of the many amazing images I want to show.
From the first time I met DeShawna, I could hardly wait to photograph her and Brandon. On Friday night, I headed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Sara Beth and Savannah.
I really loved the moment when these two saw each other, it was so sweet. They were great about trying out all of my ideas, especially with the bridal party.
After a beautiful ceremony, we headed off to Central Station. And that’s when the party really got started. The whole crowd got into it, and people partied hard.
Alright, enough chatter. On to the pics…

Latasha & Vashaun’s Wedding
About a year ago, Latasha came in to meet with me and started describing their wedding. I got really excited as we talked about all of her plans.
Well, this past Saturday. I finally got to see all of the details she kept telling me about. After the ceremony we grabbed a few shots before the sun went down all of the way. At the reception, Latasha had a really custom light so their names and her favorite pattern showed during the dances.
I need to give a special shout out to Savannah for all of her help.
Ok, on to the pics…

Laura & Chris’s Wedding
Ok. So I was way long in getting this post up, but I wanted to make sure I did it right.
See, I’ve played Spades and spent New Year’s Eve with Laura & Chris. I met them at Teresa & Chris’s wedding last year, and she told me then that she was going to hire me. I was really excited about the wedding because I knew this crowd was really laid back.
We started at Laura & Chris’s house. After the ceremony, we drove out in the middle of nowhere to this great place that Laura found. Afterwards, we headed to the reception for some real partying.
I need to give a special shout out to Sara Beth Raab from Southern Design Studio for coming along to help me out.
Enough chatter, on to the photos…

Kim & Buck’s Wedding
Ok. So I’m really working to get caught up on all of the production that got piled up while I was away, which is why I am behind on blogging. Ok, enough of that…on to the couple.
Angela from Southern Event Planners called me up several months ago and told me she had a really fun bride getting married on a Friday night who loved my work. I knew right away that Kim had some real style, and it totally showed throughout the whole wedding.
The reception was at Le Pavillion and I have to say that it was one of the best setups there I’ve ever seen.
I loved watching these two interact with each other. They were so much fun. We took some photos during the reception and then Kim asked if we could do some more. I suggested the roof of a nearby building and they said sure. Thanks for trusting me.
And as if we hadn’t seen enough of each other, Darius helped me out at the wedding.
Ok, enough is enough. On to the photos…

Ok. I don’t comment on a lot of photos, but while I was shooting the image above I noticed the shadows on the wall and just had to shoot the image below.

France Day Four - The Wedding
Ok. So Friday was the big day. We met up early in the afternoon to go over to one of the amazing historical areas in Bordeaux. We had to celebrate the fact that we were in wine country with a couple of shots.
Later, everyone packed into the vans to head to one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen. The ceremony was beautiful and then we were able to grab a few photos outside of the church before the rain really hit.
Then we headed over for a phenomenal meal that lasted over 5 hours. As we headed home, everyone was kind enough to indulge us one more stop for the last shot of the night.
Alright, enough chatter already. Enjoy the photos…

France Day Three - Wedding Dinner
Thursday night, we headed across the river to have dinner at a really great pub style restaurant. The food was phenomenal, the beer was amazing (I may do a drink catalog later), and the company was some of the best I’ve every enjoyed.
Over the course of the weekend, I began to understand why Renee and Chris invited this crowd to join them for the wedding in Bordeaux. The friends and family were all truly overjoyed for them and they all helped out over the course of the weekend. Renee and Chris are truly blessed with some amazing loved ones.
I don’t have the space to show everyone right now, but I wanted to show a couple of shots from the dinner before posting the wedding pics.
On to the pics…
